Palomar Abogados recovers for its client 6.900.-€ that were stolen due to a bank phishing.
A Bankinter customer in Barcelona received a phone call from a cybercriminal using the technique so-called "spoofing", whereby he pretended to be a Bankinter Customer Service employee.

Scammer, under pretext of solving an internal incident of  bank security system, ask the bank client for his personal credentials; then, once those credentials were illicitly got, he made a purchase that was charged to her credit card for an amount of 6.900.-€.

Since Bankinter ignored its client´s amicable claim, Palomar Abogados initiated a legal procedure against the bank by sending an out-of-Court letter in which such legal office assessed bank liability and claimed the stolen amount.

As a result of Palomar Abogados legal action, Bankinter finally reimbursed to the affected client the entire amount of the 6.900.-€
