RECLAMACIÓN ATENDIDA POR IBERCAJA EN PHISHING BANCARIO

Palomar Abogados conduce la recuperación de más de 11.000.-euros sustraídos del cliente víctima de phishing bancario.
A customer of an IBERCAJA branch in Madrid, after receiving a suspicious SMS, fell victim of cybercriminal intrusion into her online banking platform, whereby such cybercriminal got both her personal credentials as electronic signature.

Scammer order a transfer exceeding 11.000.-€ which was charged to her banking account.

Despite a complaint was duly filed by the client, IBERCAJA rejected it whatsoever. Both bank office employees and its Director refuse to take any liability, assessing that "transaction had been duly recorded and authenticated" in accordance with payment service regulations.

Bank customer queried our legal services, and we initiated it by sending and out-of-Court letter to the bank, detailing legal grounds of our claim. 

As a result of our legal action, in just a couple of weeks IBERCAJA gave the money back to its client. Total 11.000.-€ were refunded to her.
